Problem Note 54158: In SASĀ® Merchandise Planning, extra dimension sets are created when source worksheets are used to create new worksheets via copy/modify procedure
SAS Merchandise Planning creates an extra copy of dimension set(s) associated with a source worksheet when creating a new worksheet using the copy/modify procedure. This extra dimension set cannot be seen in the user interface, but it is found in the maxdata.dimension_template table. The extra dimension sets can be identified by having a dimension_type = 'A' and planworksheet_id is null.
There is no workaround for this issue.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The copy/modify procedure creates an extra copy of the source worksheet's dimension set that is unnecessary. It is not assigned to any worksheet, and is not seen in the UI.
